“Aliona is a valuable blend of consultant, trainer and coach. She is able to work at a macro level with organisations developing and deploying high level strategy but also at an individual and group level facilitating groups and providing excellent 1-2-1 coaching. She works quickly and professionally and has a huge degree of focus on ensuring that implementations are delivered professionally and appropriately. The feedback I have received is exemplary.”

“Robin assembled a team comprising both permanent and consulting staff, using his extensive network to identify and secure outstanding individuals in the fields of HR, ICT, Estates, Communications and Programme Management. He led the design of a complex mobilisation, transition and transformation programme, designed to change the way in which public services could be delivered by the private sector. The design was part of a successful new market entry for Interserve in which 25% of the outsourced rehabilitation market was secured, with a value of £600m.
As Director of Transformation, Robin personally led the complex programme which involved re-designing five former public sector organisations to create new, fit for purpose structures, estate, ICT and cultural change. The programme involved more than 5,000 people and 140 properties, and a fully refreshed ICT infrastructure with new secure networks, cloud servers and end user devices being provided to all staff. A comprehensive governance and benefits realisation architecture was also designed, enabling tracking of financial and service outcomes against plans. The business in now in its third full year, and is eighteen months post-transformation. Quality of service is high, staff morale is strong and the transformation architecture designed and implemented by Robin and his team is rightly held as an exemplar of public to private transformation.
Robin’s approach is consensual and collegiate. He works with internal and external teams setting out a structured framework and approach, without stifling creativity or ownership. He uses a range of methodologies including Prince2, Managing Major Programmes and notably the EFQM Business Excellence framework to create the right bespoke toolkit for organisations to re-invent themselves, transform acquisitions or embed continuous improvement.”

“When Aliona joined us we were outdated in many of the practices needed to run an organisation efficiently and with, for example, all the appropriate governance, financial management and operational policies and practices. These and many more were developed, rewritten and brought up to date alongside the process of measuring the outcomes and impact of our work.
Charities like ours can only exist by applying to other grant-giving bodies for funds. Not surprisingly these organisations do not give away monies lightly and there are rigorous and searching procedures that we need to go through. We have been very fortunate in the recent past, with many successful bids, but notably with a very sizeable and generous grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
This is all due to Aliona’s hard work, her attention to detail, her perseverance and her considerable skills at bid-writing. All these things were done quietly, efficiently and very professionally and, vitally for us, without changing the basic aims and objectives of our charity.”

“I’d like to report back [to the Family and Parenting Institute] on the very positive input from Aliona. In particular she helped to clarify our thinking in setting strategic objectives, designing an operational delivery plan and apportioning budgets. She gave advice on governance, costings, fundraising, marketing and HR. We learnt more in the time she was with us than we had learnt from other advisors over the past several years.”
“Made things very clear, lots of helpful handouts, made allowances for my difficulties.”
